She borrows that necklace which is lost at the party.  it becomes the turning point in her life.  It becomes the life-changing point in her life and it demonstrates how her acquisitiveness and selfishness created such a situation that her husband has to abandon his wishes and Cravings. They have to live a life that they do not disturb and try to accentuate how voracious nature and how the dream without any hard work can be destructive for anyone.

Having dissatisfaction in life is normal but taking shortcuts to execute something is never going to fulfill your dream.
